The Pre-Montessori Program is designed to match the students’ desire for independence and curiosity for learning. We support our Researchers during this stage with a thoughtfully prepared environment. Our classroom supports:

  • Building social-emotional awareness
  • Growing language skills through conversation, songs, and interactions
  • Exploring early math concepts through hands-on play
  • Strengthening fine motor and gross motor skills
  • Fostering a joyful connection to Shabbat, Holidays, and Jewish traditions

This classroom provides a warm, secure environment where toddlers feel safe to explore and build independence. Children are gently guided as they develop independence, language, and motor skills at a rapid stage of growth. Alongside this, they are lovingly introduced to Jewish life through songs, Shabbat celebrations, and holiday experiences.

Montessori Class

3 – 5 Years

In our warm and welcoming Montessori classroom, children step into a thoughtfully prepared and structured learning environment. The classroom is equipped with beautifully designed lessons, Montessori materials, and manipulatives that support hands-on learning.

As a mixed-age program, the classroom fosters collaboration, mentorship, and a sense of belonging, creating a unique community where children grow at their own pace and learn from each other.

Inspired by classic Montessori philosophy, the classroom includes six areas of learning: practical life, sensorial, language, math, geography, and cultural studies. Deeply rooted in Jewish life and tradition, our classrooms’ primary focus is on nurturing a strong Jewish foundation. Children participate in daily Davening (praying), weekly Parsha (Torah portion), and celebrate Shabbat and Jewish holidays in meaningful, age-appropriate ways that build connection and identity.

In addition, our students are exposed to a rich variety of creative experiences and given many opportunities for artistic expression. Through art studies, music classes, and hands-on projects, children are encouraged to express themselves, think creatively, and develop an appreciation for the arts. Our classroom focuses on:

  • Early literacy development through phonemic awareness, pre-reading skills, and emergent writing
  • Math readiness through number fluency, patterns, sequencing, and problem solving
  • Refining fine and gross motor skills, and writing preparation
  • Ongoing social-emotional growth
  • Strengthening social skills through
  • Master the Hebrew Aleph-Bet
  • Jewish identity and connection to Shabbat and Holidays
